About Me:
I am Hazel Faye from the Philippines. I have been a member of Bayanihan Sipocot Bible Baptist Church for almost 4 years. I got saved last 2019. I am now a Church Choir Member, a Children Sunday School Teacher, a Good News Class Teacher, and I thank the Lord for those privilege and for His grace that He abound to me to handle those ministries.
I’m the eldest daughter of my parents, but now only my mother is supporting me and my siblings for our education. She’s earning Php 8,000 monthly as a baby sitter in lower part of Philippines which is Mindanao, and we her offspring is living in Luzon which is too far from her, and we have to pay for our house rent together with bills to pay monthly, that’s why we’re doing our best to still help her, and do some sidelines to atleast have additional money to spend for our daily living, for transportation fee and other expenses. We cook some food to sell like “puto” (look like a cupcake but a steamed one) and “yema candy” which we sell in our neighboring “sari-sari store” (small stores around our neighborhood), and I helped us to strive.
Living far from our parents, as the eldest daughter, as a student, as God’s servant it’s hard for me to take charge of my parents responsibility to my siblings while studying but I thank God for giving me the strength and courage to continue to live in this life, but I know everything will be paid off once we finish our studies and get a good work. Another thing that gives me strength to hold on is the ministry that I have inside the church which gives me gladness in heart and a big encouragement while serving because I know I’m doing it all with love, love for my family, love for my ministry and love for the Lord who’s my Lord and Saviour, which I consider for my good and for God’s glory.
PUNLA Ministry is such a blessing to me, and I am beyond grateful of being one of their scholar.
