About Me:
I am Rebeca Mae, 21 years old and currently taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. I have 5 sisters and 3 brothers, we are a big family. By God’s grace my older sisters already graduated with the help of this organization. We are grateful for the opportunity PUNLA Organization have been giving us. My older sister is currently working at a private school as a teacher, she just started this week. My other sister is still waiting for the ranking while doing her best volunteering in a school.
It is our goal to help our family especially our parents. We want them to stop working since they are not in a great shape anymore. It is our burden to see them staying up late, making the night as day, and day as if it’s night since they are sleeping in the daytime for just a couple of hours. Because of that they can easily develop sickness, we can’t even let them go to the hospital for check-ups. Their income is just enough and sometimes not enough for our daily needs. That is one of my struggle right now, knowing that my family is not eating because they don’t have money to buy food. I am often not at home because of my part-time job at my uncle’s refilling station wherein my salary is not that big, just to lessen the burden of my parents.
It is a great blessing for me and my family if you want to become part of this success. We cannot do this without the grace of God. I know God will use someone as an instrument to be a blessing for others. May you have the desire to help us and be our prayer warrior. I may not be a blessing to someone financially right now but I will be a blessing in different aspects of life. Let’s be a blessing as we are blessed by God.
