I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Mariel, I am 20 years old, second year college taking Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. My parents are separated and my brother is the one helping me with my studies. I am the youngest in the family and being the youngest provided me with a unique perspective on life. It has taught me the value of cherishing moments and embracing the guidance of my elders.
My journey through college has been a fulfilling one so far. Despite the challenges wether of personal issues or financial matters I am still thankful to God for his unending blessings to me in this journey. I am blessed with people that supports and pray for me when I needed and Punla is one of that. Please continue to pray for me and my fellow scholars because I know that each of us are facing our own silent battles. Your prayers and positive energy will serve as a reminder that we are not alone in our endeavors. I am so blessed also with a pastor where in times when life can feel overwhelming, the reminders to stay rooted in our faith and to embrace the trials as opportunities for growth have been a source of comfort. It is in the book of Psalm 73:26; “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.” As I continue to grow I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
