As a college student, life away from your family is not easy.
In the past few weeks I have been facing many problems, financially and struggling in studies especially this school year. My father is a construction worker and his salary is only enough for food. But now he lost his job and my mother is currently sick. It came to a point in my life where I wanted to stop studying because of what was happening. I looked for a job, became a laundress and sometimes a babysitter. This school year, I honestly don’t have enough allowance and expect no money but only this scholarship. I have to save my money and walk vice versa. Whenever I lose hope, I think about why I have to continue and why I have to be successful in life. My family is the reason why I can handle all the trials and God gives me the strength to fight in life.
