This spring PUNLA Christian Ministries was blessed to have a 10 member team representing churches from Nebraska, Mississippi and Texas come with us to the Philippines. We visited 11 partner churches.
Our trip activities included:
- PUNLA sponsored a 5 day Pastor Training Conference in Goa Cam. Sur. headlined by two of our team members Pastor Irv and Pastor David. The training and fellowship is a true blessing.
- 3rd Annual PUNLA College Forum was held for 2 days at Partido State University in Goa Cam. Sur. One hundred students attended and 40 students were awarded scholarships. The highlight for us was hearing from several of former scholarship students. They told us their stories and how God had blessed them through PUNLA Christian Ministries.
We had lots of highlights on our trip, but I think the team members all would say the 2 days we spent with the surviving families from December landslide was the most memorable. We helped 23 families who all had lost everything including family members in the disaster. Our prays are with them as they rebuild their lives
