Medical Outreach/ Gospel Tract Distribution
On June 6, 2015, a team of volunteers conducted a medical outreach in Hanawan, Ocampo, Camarines Sur wherein we provided free doctor consultation and gave out free medicine and vitamins. During the event, we also have some volunteers that distributed gospel tract and did a short talk about the tract to the people waiting in queue. At the end of the day, we were able to serve approximately 700 patients.
Treats without Tricks
Showing God’s love with a small gesture. (Luke 18:16 Permit the little children to come to Me, and do not hinder them. For to such belongs the kingdom of God.)
On June 8, 2015, Punla volunteers went to Hanawan Elementary School to give out candies and chocolate to kids. It was like a trick or treat in June except trick was not necessary to get sweets. The smiles painted on the little kids faces were priceless.
Not New Yet a Blessing
Punla volunteers delivered donated clothing, toys, and other household items to be distributed to needy family in the Camarines Sur region. Punla partnered with a local Christian church located in Pinit, Ocampo, Camarines Sur to do the distribution. The items given may have been used but to people living in extreme poverty, even used items are a blessing.
